This has been on my TBR list for quite some time, I’ve had the book for years but for another book has always got in its way. This was July’s Book Club read and I (shamefully so) wasn’t impressed. Of course, Jane Austen was a great writer and her work should be read, but many of the characters irked me. It just felt like a whole lot of nothing happened. I like to be taken on a journey but it felt flat. Pride & Prejudice will remain my favourite Austen choice.
